After fifteen years of teaching and learning, Astere is excited to share her expertise as an Educator turned writer, with the world!

Excited to put her Communications Degree to work, Astere continues to look for opportunities to uplift the people in her community by creating engaging resources, hosting workshops, and sharing her books.

As a BIPOC female writer, Astere is a member of a small group of women who work to share their love for literature and pride in creating characters that young people of color can make memorable connections with.

Astere’s process as a self-published author, has proven to be an extremely rewarding opportunity that she hopes will inspire future readers and leaders in the Bronx, New York City, and around the country!
